AND141 Sketching and Drawing for Animation 2nd Semester      Week 8      In the eighth class of the second semester Sketching and Drawing for Animation course AND141,  we returned to drawing the face.     Notes      exercise 1      face to face again How close are you zooming in? Realistic or caricaturesque? Abstraction, Side or 3/4ths? Add elements     To start, I used watercolor to wash my paper with four different base colors for my observational face drawings. My first drawing was of a statue in the classroom. I used pencil to sketch, ink pen to line the details, and colored pencil to color.     exercise 2     Face drawing, in pairs     For my second drawing, I drew my classmate Daria.  I used pencil to sketch, ink pen to line the details, and colored pencil to color.

Final Project Animation - Week 8: Poster Presentation

EXD300 Poster Presentation   Week 8     In the eighth class of the second semester Final Project course, we went over the requirements for the Final Project poster presentation and established every student's next progress check.     Notes     " Poster Presentation" Use InDesign or Illustrator. Use characters! Ideas from Aspa: Use an Elmo Projector for viewers to play with analogue puppet. Make a diagram / poster of the Toon Boom Harmony background with printed digital puppet reaching out to analogue puppet on analogue background.     a)     Images for catalogue: Correct resolution? Cropped properly? Corners placed properly / line up in layout? Spell-checked? Images must be from EXD300 or best works from other modules.  *     Properly scan all analogue work!!!
