AND142 Animation Characters and Narrative      Week 6       This post is of week 6 of the first-year animation course AND142 Animation Characters and Narrative. I am attending this course in order to aid my exploration, research and development for EXD300.      STORYBOARD the STORYLINE   Whatever the genre , short films need a beginning , middle and end .  So once you’ve distilled your brainstorming session down into a single idea that you can carry forward, it’s time to start outlining the story.  At the STORYBOARDING stage, you’re trying to flesh out the general structure of the film .  It is all down to your personal approach.

Sketching and Drawing for Animation - Week 6

AND141 Sketching and Drawing for Animation 2nd Semester      Week 6     In the sixth class of the second semester Sketching and Drawing for Animation course AND141,  we focused on using watercolor, ink, and / or colored pencil to first draw observationally, then freely while listening to specifically chosen music.     First, we started with a warm-up observational drawing of an  aubergine. Then, we were asked to create a playlist of 3-4 songs we like to listen to while creating. All students wrote their names on pieces of paper to then draw out of a bowl. Final Project Animation - Week 6: Interim Review

EXD300 Interim Review   Week 6     In the sixth class of the second semester Final Project course, we covered what the first Interim Review will require and how to individually progress in our projects until our Proposals have been given feedback.      Notes      Interim Review (will take place last week of March)      For assessment, I will present my work first for Interim Review and then later for Final Review. There will be more than one person on each panel including my specialist media tutor.  At each Review, I will make a spoken presentation of up to ten minutes describing my work to my tutors on the Review Panel. The Reviews are a great chance to highlight the best aspects of my work and the research that led up to it, and to make sure it is thoroughly communicated.  There will also be a Final Presentation that will be videoed.
