AND142 Animation Characters and Narrative      Week 5       This post is of week 5 of the first-year animation course AND142 Animation Characters and Narrative. I am attending this course in order to aid my exploration, research and development for EXD300.      Notes     L ogline, Synopsis and Storyline  LOGLINE  Logline is a brief - 1 or 2 sentence - summary of a film (or tv show), that hooks the reader and describes the central conflict of the story (kind of like elevator pitch).  SYNOPSIS  Synopsis is a brief summary that gives audiences an idea of what the film is about.  *It is an overview without spoilers . It generally lets people see if it is a kind of story they might want to read.*  It provides an overview of the storyline or main points and other defining factors of the work, which may include: style genre persons characters of note setting

AND141 Sketching and Drawing for Animation 2nd Semester      Week 5     In the fifth class of the second semester Sketching and Drawing for Animation course AND141,  we focused on using only watercolor and/or ink to first draw observationally, then freely using complimentary colors.  Exercise 1      complimentary colors      Include: An animal, an instrument, a plant, and use complimentary colors.  My painting included a frog, a guitar, cattails and a lily pad. The complimentary colors I used were green and red in the foreground, and blue and yellow in the background.
