Final Project Animation - Week 14: Stop-Motion Shooting Day 1

EXD300 Stop-Motion Shooting     |     Day 1   Week 14     In the fourteenth week of the second semester Final Project course, I started shooting my stop-motion animation demo. I started with a test scene, then made multiple attempts at shooting the analogue puppet demo.      Test      Demo     During the shooting of the scene above, I realized how difficult it would be to animate the butterfly flying past the puppet since they are on the same level of the multiplane. Because of this, I decided to shoot the butterfly flying cycle on its own in a static position to then edit back into the demo in post production.     I was also unsure of the jump and recovery, so I made another attempt at it.     In the end, I preferred the original scene's jump more than the second attempt. All stop-motion animation was shot with Tahoma2D on a multiplane set-up provided by AAS College.
