    Week 5

    In the fifth class of the second semester Sketching and Drawing for Animation course AND141, we focused on using only watercolor and/or ink to first draw observationally, then freely using complimentary colors.


 Exercise 1

    complimentary colors

    Include:

  • An animal,
  • an instrument,
  • a plant,
  • and use complimentary colors.

 My painting included a frog, a guitar, cattails and a lily pad. The complimentary colors I used were green and red in the foreground, and blue and yellow in the background.
