In the second class of the second semester Final Project course, we continued reviewing and expanding upon possible Final Project ideas.
Continued Final Project Ideas
In this week's class, each student discussed their written proposal status and final project ideas. My current final project status is focusing on 2D character rigging and analogue cutout animation. The themes I am considering for exploration are:
- Digital vs. Analogue,
- Present vs. Past,
- and Conscious vs. Subconscious
I also plan to further consider the character interaction in the final animated short. I want it to be a crucial moment in the film that captures the viewer's attention and portrays a message or theme beyond its technical aspects.
