 Week 12

    In week 12 during the Easter Break, I made a paper puppet butterfly and a background & set for my analogue stop-motion animation.

 Based on: Cabbage White Butterfly

    - "Pieris rapae"

 Needs to be:

 - Clearly designed

 - Simple but eye-catching

    Assembly

    Based on the above reference images of the common Cabbage White Butterfly, I drew, cut, and wired a paper replica. I used colored pencils and ink pen on water color paper.

    Background & Set

    After unsuccessfully finding graph or millimeter paper that is large enough for how I want my film to look, I settled on making it myself. I used water color paper and blue colored pencil.

    Next, I made the set. For this, I designed and created a background set piece (a cloud) and a foreground. I used water color paper and blue colored pencil.
